Making Cookies on Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas!

I hope you had a great one! I had to work half day on Christmas Eve, but after that I was able to spend some time with Spencer and his family. After that we delivered some cookie plates (about 10, but it took a while since we had people all over the city) that my family had made over the last few days before Christmas. Christmas morning was relaxing. We didn't wake up early since we didn't have any of the kids at the house. Later after Spencer got off work we went over to my brother's house for a great Christmas dinner! It was a wonderful day!

So much to do...so little time!

I was sick this past week and didn't accomplish much. Now I feel like I have a hundred things to do...
Christmas cards
Shopping for Christmas (haven't started!!)
write a 16 page paper for my class (nope haven't started that either!)
plus...our ward Christmas party is this Saturday and I have a bunch to do for that.......

August Rush

Spencer and I went to the movies last night and saw August Rush. It was a fantastic movie!!

Thanksgiving Dinner!

Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving Dinner. It was a lot of fun to have David, Amber and Jackson here. Mom made her famous fruit salad--I will need to get the recipe since it was Spencer's favorite dish. We went to his mom's house later on and played a card game "It Came to Pass" and watched a movie. It was a great day!

Birthday Dinner

My birthday was on Friday. I went to dinner at Claim Jumper with Spencer, my sister, Wendi and my parents.

Almost Thanksgiving?

I am still trying to remember that it is November when putting the date on documents at work. I just realized a couple of days ago that Thanksgiving is next week! Where has the time gone? Times like these makes me wish I still worked for the school district and got a whole week off for Thanksgiving and 2 weeks off for Christmas.
