The end of 2nd grade

Tomorrow is the end of my time in the 2nd grade. In two weeks I will begin my second assignment in student teaching. I will be at a different school and will be teaching in the 6th grade.

2nd Grade

So I am almost done with my first assignment as a student teacher. I have enjoyed working with the second graders and was blessed to have an amazing master teacher. It has been very busy but a wonderful learning experience.

Student Teaching

Well, I have postponed it as long as I possibly can (I need to get it done so I can get a teaching job for fall). I start student teaching at a local elementary school tomorrow morning. I will be in a second grade classroom for the next eight weeks. After that, I have a few weeks off and then will get my next eight week assignment (in a 3, 4, 5 or 6th classroom).

I have officially dropped my second credential--special education. I have enjoyed being in this program, but I don't want to keep going to school for another year to get this second credential. So I will just be getting the multiple subject credential.

My nephew, Jackson is back in CA for a visit before they move far away to Indiana. :-(


He really likes the rocking horse. He can get off it by himself, but needs help getting on it.
